Writing Genius
No character created by Charles Dickens will ever be forgotten!
His memorable novels have moved and captivated generations through books and now even movies.
I have to say though, that his books are grossly belittled by feeble (in comparison) modern-day films, no matter how well-made and extravagant the film may be.

Don't get me wrong, there are a number of terrific films that will impress even the most modern of audiences, my only point is to highlight the importance of reading his works and never assume that just because we may have watched "the movie", somehow we know and understand the novel(s).
A Victorian Writer
He was born Charles John Huffam Dickens on February 7, 1812 and died June 9, 1870.
He certainly lived during the ages to which most lovers of history I know would love to visit, the Victorian Ages.
