American Civil War Movies
Often times, because civil war movies tend to focus on certain topics, like racism, slavery, or injustice we find it difficult to get any kind of useful perspective on the events of the middle of the 19th century.
1861-1865
But for lovers of history and movies, such as we are, it's definitely necessary to get a broader grasp of those dreadful events that led to the bloody war where brother fought against brother.
The Rebirth of a Nation and the Hope for the World
Understanding the lives of our parents who lived during and after the war is not only interesting but life-changing.
The re-building of our nation thereafter marked the greatest time of prosperity that any nation, before and after, has ever seen.
Let's visit the lives of the people who re-built America, their ideals, the faith, and even their mistakes.
Let's answer the hard questions,
who was right, the North or the South?
was the country really a racist country? what kind of "slave owners" were they? and so on..
Here's an important question, how did african-americans feel in those days?
what was their role in the civil war?
