Every Easter Holiday you watch a different movie to celebrate and remember where the tradition comes from.
It begins with Palm Sunday, when the Lord Jesus entered Jerusalem as a triumphant Messiah and King of the Jews. People laying palm branches at his feet and hailing him as the Son of David who's come to free them from their bondage.
Continues on Good Friday, observed as the day when Jesus was crucified, killed and buried. And on Sunday (Easter) we celebrate his Resurrection.
You know all about that.. So here's the point, out of all the great Easter movies you've watched throughout the years,
Which film stands out?
Which portrayal brought the story to life?
How about the accuracy and message?
What's the best Easter movie?
Write to us about it (don't forget the movie cover images and posters) and when you do, you'll automatically be entered into our Easter Holiday contest.
The best review will win their favorite Easter movie, in whichever format (Blue ray, etc) or a $25 Amazon gift certificate to use as you wish. So make it count! It's up to you!

We are starting a tradition on our site of giving stuff away every holiday that deals with history. And every time we are planning on giving better, and better prizes, as budget allows.
According to our calculations, our next contest will include an iPhone or something similar. Next an iPad, and so on..
We will have one of such contests at least 5 times a year, so enjoy!

Guidelines and Submission -

- Only suggestions with both REVIEWS AND IMAGES will be considered and eligible to enter contest.
- You may write as many Easter movie reviews as you wish, there's no limit, the more you write the better chance you'll have of winning.
- When writing your review / suggestion don't worry about making it sound professional, but MAKE IT YOU!
If you can talk at all, you can write.. so just let it flow, just type! Don't you even worry about editing or even misspellings when FLOWING, you will always do that at the end.
One extra tip for winning, if you just let it flow and get it all out, you'll automatically increase your chances. - Provide the outline of the film. Intrigue, without giving too many of the twists away, make people want of watch it, after all you loved it right?
- Keep in mind who your audience is. (Example, the Passion of the Christ is too violent for children, so in this case write for adults)
- Talk about the acting, and movie set quality. Was it good?
What are the major differences between the film and the story in the Bible?
Did it preserve the message?
How did the director do?
What about the lighting?
Plus anything and everything else you think will be useful, as I said.. MAKE IT YOU!
If you can JUST TALK and FLOW about these small details you'll ensure you'll win.. - Always remember that film-related images set you apart from the rest. Whether they are posters, movie covers or any other pics related to the film, be creative. You do know most people are just going to submit the movie cover right?
