A plan that nobody could have guessed even though it was revealed to Joseph in two dreams. His brothers, however, hated him because of his honesty and when he made his dreams known to everyone they hated him all the more.

His brothers planned on killing him but chose instead not to spill his blood but sell him into slavery instead.

Joseph never returned to Canaan and soon the whole 12 tribes of Israel will be in Egypt for 400 years.

The film closely follows the story found in Genesis and is one of my favorite Bible movies, despite the complaints we have about these movies and their poor qualities.
