The Mexican American War

The Mexican American War marked the end of the struggle for freedom in the northern lands belonging to mexico at the time, our southern border.

The Alamo and Freedom

From Texas to California people became increasingly restless with mexico and numerous times revolted against it. Texas finally accomplished independence and became a republic in 1837, although California sought its own independence, it was never accomplished until the United States stepped in during the mexican American war.

The Republic of Texas and the Mexican American War

The war for freedom continues and now it moves southwest all the way to California.
