The Middle Ages Never Seemed So Real!

The Middle Ages have a reputation of enchanting us with their stories of the prince and princes falling and love. But is there more to knight movies than falling in love?

Have you ever thought of movies as a way of teaching you history and actually learning something from them?

A good excuse for not learning history is that when we think of the people of the past we think of them as lifeless, unimportant and boring..

Take for example the Dark Ages, what do you remember from school about them? do you remember the Knights? the kings? people giving their service to the "Crown" of such European "Kingdoms"?

Well, all of that and more really comes alive on the big screen by means of good films on the ever so important dark ages.

Gothic times never seemed so interesting before; and no, I am talking about gothic in the same way our young people of today perceive it..

Medieval Movies are just about my favorite films; I like the whole idea of fighting wars with a sword, no high tech at all, being faithful to the people of the Kingdom and the Crown. And being in love with the "princess" in the castle!
