One of the greatest events in history without a doubt was the discovery of fire.

I suppose that only the ability to communicate in one single language had a greater effect upon the human race than this single event.

How men came to this discovery is "pure guessing," it is today and perhaps it will always continue to be.

Almost as precious as food and water must fire had been to early man, and as with anything coveted by others it became his duty to preserve it until the time when he learned how to make it.

La Guerre du Feu is NOT more than a simple imaginative film that attempts to portray what the life of the men in search for fire could have been while at the same time portraying the usual cheap and flagrant sexual depravations we have come to expect from film makers in Hollywood.
