----
In this version, Moses does act like the leader and Aaron like the messenger as a result of Moses doubts.
In the Heston version he experiences life as a slave before leaving Egypt for the desert, this version presents it after his return.
At which point, we see the Hebrews challenging his authority, this perhaps justifies the need for Aaron to be the spokesman.
This television miniseries was aired in two parts, first part focuses on Moses' life from infancy to the parting of the Red Sea while the second part picks up from here and ends with the slaying of the 3,000 men.
Although the version had the potential to move throughout the books of the Pentateuch.
