I have spent a little time reading reviews about this movie and most of consensus (I have to say that I agree with it) is the expectations everyone had when they first heard about the movie.
The movie is not disappointing nor should it be, it is beautifully and historically written.
It's a quality issue, you can actually kind of tell that the movie is a low budget production with known actors in the Christian community, such as Carmen.
That said, I would not call it horrible as some have, it's not.
But if you are looking for a soap opera kind of work through which you can watch the beautiful story of the moabites who married Boaz from which came king David, this your family movie.
Rest of review coming soon..
